Can you believe it is August already? For Believe In Tomorrow, the summer has been flying by while we work to bring comfort and joy to the children and families in our programs.

Family Story
Riley’s Unforgettable Getaway
Over the 4th of July holiday, Riley Marshall and her family stayed with us at The Children’s House by the Sea in Ocean City, MD. Riley’s 7th cycle of chemotherapy had been postponed, causing some stress for the family. But as soon as they arrived at the beach, the Marshalls’ stress melted away.
A Reason To Believe… The Gift of Time

Whenever I enter our Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Hospital or Respite Housing facilities, I am struck by how precious time can be for families struggling with a child’s life-threatening illness. Within our Believe In Tomorrow Houses, time can take on a different perspective. I am sure that, for many of our families, minutes can often seem like hours as they struggle through the difficult events of life. And at other times, days can pass by in a blur of activity and emotion. It is an upside-down world that serves as a reminder that nothing should ever be taken for granted. Click here to read more…
Get Involved – Wish of the Month
Believe In Tomorrow needs regular, weekly volunteer help at the Children’s House at Johns Hopkins and our House at St. Casimir. Specifically, we need recurring help with gardening, general cleaning and basic maintenance.
If you have extra time during your summer, volunteering a few hours a week to our houses would immensely help our day-to-day operations.
