We are excited to announce our 2016 Prom King and Queen – Mike Ciorrocco and Shelley Leach!

In our closest Prom Night: A Night in the Spotlight fundraiser yet, it came down to the final count before we knew who our 2016 King and Queen would be. Our contestants were incredibly successful fundraising, bringing in over $80,000 for Believe In Tomorrow children and families through the event! While Mike and Shelley won the crowns, special recognition is due to our runner ups, David Neith and Christina Fohner. David first participated in our programs in 2002 after being diagnosed with a rare kidney disease when he was just eight years old. He participated to give back for the time him and his family spent at the Believe In Tomorrow Children’s House By the Sea during his treatment.

The crowning ceremony on February 20th packed the Hooter’s Restaurant in West Ocean City, MD. Attendees enjoyed cocktails, a DJ, a chocolate fountain, and a mystery box raffle (including a surprise diamond necklace!). Our 2015 Prom King and Queen, Jason Gulshen and Jackie Siejack, were even on hand to pass the crowns!

While the 2016 event has ended, we encourage you to view the contestant’s personal pages by clicking on their name in the “Fundraisers” box here. Additional donations will not count as 2016 “votes,” but they will still be incredibly valuable to the critically ill children and families in our programs!
