Employees from the MD Department of the Environment recently challenged employees from the MD Department of Natural Resources to a tug-of-war contest to benefit Believe In Tomorrow!

While the contest was held to promote the Maryland Charity Campaign, a workplace giving program for Maryland state employees, staff were encouraged to raise additional support for the Believe In Tomorrow Children’s House at Johns Hopkins through the tug-of-war contest. The more donations either team raised, the more members they could include on their tug-of-war team!

We thank both departments for their generous participation in the Maryland Charity Campaign, and congratulate the Maryland Department of Natural Resources on the win!
