Change for change through KidCents

ChangeForChangeRiteAidWe are excited to announce that we are now an official KidCents charity! Nationwide, Rite Aid customers can round up their spare change and donate it to an official KidCents charity, which now includes us!

Through the national KidCents program, Believe In Tomorrow was also awarded a grant from the Rite Aid Foundation, which closely aligns with the health and wellness aspects of Believe In Tomorrow’s programs for critically ill children and their families. Thank you, Rite Aid!

Here’s how you can support Believe In Tomorrow when you shop at Rite Aid:

  • Go to kidcents.riteaid.com to register as a Rite Aid wellness+ member (if you aren’t already) and enroll in the KidCents program (it’s free!)
  • After you enroll, select Believe In Tomorrow as your charity of choice
  • Next time you shop at Rite Aid, your change will be rounded up to benefit Believe In Tomorrow’s programs!

Help us spread the word by sharing this information with your friends and family. Imagine the change your change can make!

Believe In Tomorrow in the news

September was jam-packed with fun activities and events, so thank you to everyone who participated in one (or many) to support Believe In Tomorrow! Here’s a few news clips from some recent events:

Scunny Elvis Open news clip
WBAL-TV: Annual golf tournament honors Canton pioneer
Scunny Memorial Kayak news clip
The Baltimore Sun: From Ocean City to Fells Point, a grueling kayak journey for a cause

We’re going green with our thank you’s!

In an effort to cut costs and be more environmentally friendly, we will now be thanking some of our donors for their contributions via email rather than snail mail. During this transition, some donors will still receive acknowledgement and thanks in the form of a mailed letter, while others will receive an “e-thank you” via email.

While we understand the importance of our environmental footprint and wise spending, we also greatly value our donors’ preferences! If you would prefer to receive gift acknowledgements in a certain manner (mail or email), please fill out this simple form and help us help you. If you have a preferred email address other than this one, please let us know that as well.

Thanks for your understanding!

Our first-ever volunteer-led pig roast!

Just a few weeks ago, families at the Believe In Tomorrow Children’s House at Johns Hopkins were treated to a very unique (and tasty) volunteer-led meal: a pig roast!

Some of the staff at IMRE, along with family and friends, prepared an elaborate feast for our families before the day’s football game, and even brought activities for the kids.
