The NASCAR Foundation’s Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award honors a dedicated NASCAR fan who has positively impacted the lives of children through volunteerism. Believe In Tomorrow and our super volunteer, Carl Dakes (aka Carl the Painter) have made the list of four finalists this year! Carl is a painter by profession, who for the past 18 years has volunteered his talents and many thousands of volunteer hours to paint each of our pediatric hospital and respite houses. Carl’s work has brightened our facilities and the lives of all the families who stay with us.
