Ocean City’s Saltwater Cowboys brought their competitive spirit and generosity to the water for the 4th Annual Battle for the Buckle, raising $15,000 for Believe In Tomorrow’s Beach Respite Program.

That support helps critically ill children and their families take a much-needed break from the demands of treatment. A beach respite stay gives families time to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the simple moments that can be difficult to find amid hospital visits and medical appointments.

For the families we serve, those moments might mean building sandcastles, sharing a meal, or watching the sunset together. They offer children a chance to be kids and parents a chance to catch their breath while making memories as a family.

By fishing for a purpose, the Battle for the Buckle community helped make more of these moments possible. We are grateful to the organizers, participating anglers, and everyone who contributed to this year’s event for turning a day on the water into meaningful support for Believe In Tomorrow families.
