Believe In Tomorrow's 18th Annual Port to Fort 6k

Get ready for Believe In Tomorrow’s 18th Annual Port to Fort 6k!
Form a team with family, friends or coworkers, or run solo through a great 6k course, named one of CBS Baltimore’s Best Running Events. Set a personal goal for yourself, whether it be fundraising a record amount, beating last year’s time, or simply getting involved in a fun event with a great cause!
All race proceeds benefit Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Foundation, a Baltimore-based nonprofit that has provided housing services to critically ill children and their families for over 30 years.

- $10 - Children age 10 and under (with kid's shirt!)
- $15 – Students, Military, Believe In Tomorrow families, Home Depot employees
- $25 – General Public (before April 1st)
- $35 - General Public (after April 1st)
- $40 – Virtual Runners (for those who can't make it)
- $40 – Race Day Registrants
All pre-registered runners are guaranteed a premium race shirt and timing chip. Chip timing will be provided by Charm City Run. We cannot guarantee shirt size/availability for Race Day Registrants.
All race participants must register individually. Cut-off for online pre-registration is April 24th.
We strongly encourage all participants to register online, but for those who prefer snail-mail registration, download a registration form. Fill out one form per runner and mail with payment to the address listed. Fill out all fields, especially age. Cut-off for mail-in registrations is April 17th .

Runners can set goals and track fundraising progress by customizing online fundraising pages. Prizes will be awarded to individuals who fundraise $250 or more by race day.
$250 - $499 raised
$500 - $699 raised
$700 - $899 raised
Armed Services Challenge: Awarded to largest team from a military institution.
Corporate Team Challenges: Awarded to largest team and highest fundraising team.
Community Team Challenges: Awarded to largest team and highest fundraising team.
Family Team Challenge: Awarded to the largest and highest fundraising Believe In Tomorrow family teams.
Individual Race Awards:
Gift card prizes will be presented to the top 3 male/female overall finishers.
Medals will be given to the top male/female masters overall and the top 3 male/female finishers in the following age categories: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
All award winners will be recognized at the post-race awards ceremony. Runners can also look forward to a delicious picnic provided by our friends at Greene Turtle McHenry Row, Chick-Fil-A of Eastpoint, Turkey Hill, Shoppers Food, UTZ, Bakery Express-Ms. Desserts, and H&S Bakery!
Individual packet pickup will be available prior to and on race day to pick up your race bib and shirt. Timing chips will be picked up on race day. We apologize, we cannot provide special team packet pickup due to the growing size of our race each year!

Race day packet pickup (at the race) will begin at 6:45am. No early birds please!
If picking up multiple packets for friends/family/teammates, please bring a list of everyone's names to facilitate the process. We strongly encourage attending packet pickup prior to race day!
Race begins and ends at Coke Field (1100 Fort Ave., Baltimore, MD 21230).
Head East on Fort Avenue toward Light Street.
Left on Belt Street, left on Randall Street, left on Webster Street.
Right on Fort Avenue toward Fort McHenry.
Enter Fort McHenry and complete Fort loop, returning to Coke Field via Fort Ave.
Please note: roads will close at 7:30am in preparation for the race.

Parking will be available on race day at several locations: one lot within Domino Sugar Factory, the gravel Under Armour lot on Key Highway across from Domino Sugar, and the Francis Scott Key Elementary School on Fort Avenue.
Street parking is also available in the surrounding areas, but please pay attention to all parking signs and be respectful of the neighbors. Please help us maintain a positive presence in the area by assisting our clean up efforts and disposing of any trash you see near your vehicles!
DO NOT park in the McHenry Row garages or the Southside Market Place Shopping Center (where Shoppers is located) as they may tow.
We have also partnered with Uber, a convenient car service in the greater downtown Baltimore area. Download the free UBER app on your smartphone and register with promo code PORTTOFORT to receive a first free ride up to $20. For each new rider with the code, Uber will donate $5 to Believe In Tomorrow!
- To ensure runner safety, NO bikes, rollerblades, “wheelies,” scooters or skateboards are permitted on the race course
- NO PETS are permitted on the race course
- Strollers and kiddie wagons are permitted, though you will be asked to start at the back of the runners to keep everyone safe during the race start
- Audio listening devices are permitted
- Port to Fort is a rain or shine event!
