Believe In Tomorrow’s Military Pediatric Respite Housing to be First of its
Kind in the United States. (PDF)June, 2008
Believe In Tomorrow's next retreat facility will be a mountain retreat located in Pinnacle Falls, near Hendersonville, North Carolina. Situated in a private gated resort community, the Believe In Tomorrow House at Pinnacle Falls will offer families a spectacular mountain setting that will include hiking trails, trout streams, a community clubhouse with swimming pools, and unparalleled mountain serenity.

Believe In Tomorrow provides exceptional hospital and retreat housing services to critically ill children and their families. We believe in keeping families together during a child's medical crisis, and that the gentle cadence of normal family life has a powerful influence on the healing process. Believe In Tomorrow developed the concept for the first pediatric retreat facilities built in the United States, which help families escape from the stressful routine of medical treatments. By relaxing in a vacation setting free of charge, families are able to renew themselves mentally and physically, and spend quality time together.
Believe In Tomorrow owns eight pediatric hospital and retreat facilities and has provided over a quarter of a million overnight accommodations to families since 1986. Each facility is a symbol of the spirit of generosity that exists throughout the United States. The Believe In Tomorrow House at Johns Hopkins as an example, has a value of over two and a half million dollars, yet was constructed almost entirely from contributions of donated material and labor. The Believe In Tomorrow House at Pinnacle Falls will be using a similar old fashioned barn raising approach for its construction.
The Believe In Tomorrow House at Pinnacle Falls is now under construction! We are currently developing the volunteer team required to make this project a reality, and our list of charity partners is growing. We would like to thank the Amick family and Renaissance Communities for their incredible leadership and generosity in this effort.
