This year Believe In Tomorrow military families will be able to enjoy the warm, caring community at Bethany Beach, Del. The Believe In Tomorrow House in Bethany Beach was donated for the year to further the foundation’s Military Initiative and Retreat Housing Program

While getting treatment for their child at a military hospital, families in the United States Armed Forces often are far from home without the support of extended family members. The Military Initiative acts as an outside support system that gives the opportunity for the families to be together in a comfortable environment. As we continue to prioritize these families in all of our facilities, two retreat houses opening in May 2008, the Believe In Tomorrow House By The Bay and the Believe In Tomorrow House at Pinnacle Falls, will also be dedicated to the Military Initiative.

Thanks to generous donors and volunteers, families will enjoy the beautiful beach and fun activities the town has to offer. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Michael Glick for the generous donation of the house and Pam Adkins, volunteers and the entire Bethany Beach community for all the invaluable help with opening the house and the warm welcomes we have received. 

Believe In Tomorrow has enjoyed working with the Bethany Beach community and hopes to establish a permanent facility in the Bethany-Fenwick area, which would continue to focus on military pediatric patients and children with cancer.
