Hospital Housing Application
Eligibility
A child must be 17 years old or younger and receiving treatment at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. A family must live more than 60 miles away from the hospital to be eligible for housing. Requests for hospital housing are prioritized based on the medical condition of the child, with life-threatening diagnoses receiving highest priority.
Referral
To apply, please have you Medical Office Coordinator or Licensed Clinical Social Worker fill out a referral and send it to us. Referrals are available online for JHH hospital staff only. Families may not self refer. If your hospital contact is unfamiliar with the referral process he or she should call the Family Care Manager at 410-614-2560. Once we receive the referral, we will process your request while taking into account the severity of your child's condition and the nature of your visit.
