Families staying at Believe In Tomorrow’s Children’s House at Johns Hopkins and the House at St. Casimir have the opportunity to participate in many activities including:
Family Suppers: Tired of hospital food? Enjoy a home cooked meal provided 3-4 times per week by our generous volunteers for all guests and their families.
Volunteer Van Drivers: Allow our volunteer van drivers to shuttle you back and forth to the grocery store, mall, or local attractions. Van drivers are not always available and schedules may vary. Please see a staff member upon arrival for details.
Therapy Dogs: If you’re missing your family pet, visit with trained canines 3 times a month at The Children’s House.
Tickets to Local Attractions: Take advantage of our complimentary passes to the Aquarium, the Zoo, Port Discovery and other local Baltimore attractions.
Baseball Tickets: Enjoy a trip to Camden Yards to see the Orioles take on their American League competition. Tickets are available for select games, and usually include a parking pass.
Arts and Crafts: Participate in various creative activities with volunteers on a weekly basis.
Massage Therapy: Let your cares melt away with a free massage from volunteer professional massage therapists.
Seasonal Activities include: Cookies and Cocoa, Smoothie Night and Family Barbeques.
